On Top of the World is renowned for its world-class amenities that cater to the interests of every resident. The community has over 175 clubs & organizations. The amenities abound, such as three golf courses, multiple clubhouses, fitness centers, swimming pools, tennis and pickleball courts, restaurants, Softball Field, Dog parks, miles of walking trails, even an R/C airplane & drone field, and an R/C car track. The Recreation Center, Hobby Building, and Arbor Club and Conference Center are available to all residents residing in the main section, Weybourne Landing and Candler Hills sections. Residents at Indigo East enjoy their own pools & recreation center and with the purchase of a Gateway of Service pass can use the main facilities behind the gates in the central section. Candler Hills has a beautiful ballroom/pool with grilling area called the Lodge as well as a restaurant and additional pool.

There are three 18-hole golf courses at On Top of the World. Golf is not included in the HOA - pay if you play or you may get a membership.. The Candler Hills Golf Club is a semi-private, par 72, 4,877 to 7,233-yard course, depending on which of the five tees you start from. The Links and The Tortoise & The Hare are private courses reserved exclusively for residents and their guests, with no Tee times, come play when you are ready or join one of the leagues.

Circle Square Commons is the entertainment and social hub for the public and residents. Circle Square Cultural Center (CSCC) at Circle Square Commons brings top name entertainment to the Ocala area, featuring spectacular events and performers every year. With seating for over 830 guests theater-style, residents have an incredible concert experience in this unique intimate setting.

Circle Square Commons is the Town Square, which showcases music on Thursday evening and live entertainment every Friday and Saturday evening. Thursdays there is a weekly farmer's market with fresh locally grown produce and crafts.

On Top of the World is divided into several distinct communities with several neighborhoods to choose from, depending on your budget and conveniences included. The largest section is commonly referred to as Meridian Preserve. Residents in this section enjoy fully maintained homes and lawns included in their monthly association dues with a slightly higher Service & Amenities fee (a great deal for all that you receive). The second section, Candler Hills, is composed of the larger estate series homes where the owner is responsible for maintanance of homes & lawn care. Two other sections are Weybourne Landing & Indigo East where the owner is responsible for maintenance of homes & lawn; thus both of these sections have a lower Service and Amenities fee.
